German Chocolate Cake Help!!!!!

icon_surprised.gificon_surprised.gif I have a last minute order for a german chocolate cake for in the morning. When I went to my pantry all I have is Chocolate fudge, Milk Choc, and Devils food cake mix. Do you know if I can add anything to these to tast like German Choc? or a from scratch recipe??? I do have a yellow cake mix, but no buttermilk. But there is something you can add to regular milk to get buttermilk---is it vinegar??? I know this sounds silly. Thanks for the recipe!!

Yep...1 Tb. of vinegar, plus enough milk added to the vinegar to equal 1 cup!

German chocolate is usually a mild flavored chocolate cake. But when ever I make it for my family I always use the Devil's Food Chocolate.
