I want to venture out and start new things... can you print on these? draw with edible markers etc. what else can you do with this?? i've seen some great cakes that have feather like pieces made from this but i wasn curious what all the obvious options are. Yes they are the same thing. You can print on them with edible ink or draw on them with food color markers. Then you can use clear piping gel and let dry to get a sheen and then put clear piping gel under it and afix them to the top of a cake as an edible image. http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=search&search=edible%20image&cat=0&pos=9&search=edible%20image. Or you can afix it to a fondant/gumpast plaque cut to size and attach a dowel/stick and stick it in the cake so it stands up on the cake. Boween does this on a lot of her cakes and it looks great. http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=favpics&cat=0&pos=-18423
I know that some people print out or buy sheets with print outs already on them, like butterflies, etc. You brush the clear piping gel on to gloss it, and make it not look like paper. http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-photos_display_34_-23421.html. There is also a tutorial for this.... http://cakecentral.com/article16-How-To-Make-Realistic-Edible-Butterflies.html

I hope all this makes sense.
