Have to vent to someone & I knew you guys would feel my pain. I have two 10" cake orders, a cupcake order for 20 & 8 dozen cookes to do this week & through the weekend...not to mention I work full time. My reason for complaining you ask? MY KITCHENAID IS IN THE SHOP!! I guess I'm using it way too much (every day). Something happened and the tilt head no longer stays where it's supposed to. It's sort of tilted forward and the beater is rubbing the bottom of the bowl. When you mix things the whole unit vibrates & it looks like the tilt head is going to snap off. UGH! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get it back by Friday all fixed but until then I'm using my hand held...taking a lot longer than usual...and praying that the motor doesn't burn out when I have to make Antonia's icing.

Thanks for listening...my family doesn't seem to understand my stress.

UH-OH. Had a similar situation two weekends ago.....anniversary cake for 250 and mixer in shop. It made it, and I sure hope that yours does too!!!!!
