Have you searched the galleries on CC? I may be wrong, but I think someone posted a cake some time ago that had a martini glass.

Hi,
I did a martini shaped cake. Check my profile for a photo. I added an initial "charm" around the stem of the glass for fun too.

Hi tabs8774, the martini glass was all cake, it was approx 22 inches in length
I took a couple of 16" square cakes and cut then up and pieced it all together
for the stem I just cut a long skinny piece of cake, and the base ...again just
cut to the shape I wanted. I iced the whole cake in buttercream. It reall was not hard to do.

I hope this helps! icon_biggrin.gif

i have one in my photos- it's the cake with all the ribbons, and i found an inexpensive, lightweight martini glass to go on top. it was an 8 inch round with a 6 inch top- but you could scale it any size you want, i always think colors like red and black or pink and green (if they're the cosmo type) look cool as martini color schemes

nermal03- that is definitely one cool cake- definitely has that retro feel

ge978- thanks for the compliment- i loved doing that cake, i'm excited because i'm doing another one for a sweet 16- minus the martini glass of course, and a lot more pink- it's actually a pretty quick cake to put together- once the ribbons and bows are done
