I am looking to expand what decorating tips I have. I looked at the chart of what all the tips do and there are just so many sizes. So, I was wondering what is everyone's favorite icing tip is, and what do you use it for? Are there any that you recomend have multiples of?
I just found out about #352 makes perfect leaves every time big or small depends on the pressure you use. Looks different from the other leaf tips.
352 is great for tips, forget the 67! Without practice, 352 also makes great chili peppers as opposed to leaves!
I recommend multiples of any tip you use often. For me I like have several different rounds, various sizes, as well as stars I use alot, like 18 and 21. I also like haveing several 104's.
I hate having to stop and wash a tip in the middle of a project, so I have bought several of those tips that I fill I will use alot of or know I use alot of.
I love star tips 16, 18,and 21. I think they are great for borders and piping in.
I also use round tips 2, 3, and 5 for making swirls and dots.
The large tip 1M is great for a big fluffy border. Works great on 11x15 or 12x18 sheets.
I always buy several duplicates of tips I use a lot.
