I am making the MMF recipe on from this site and it seemed a lttle dry, I couldn't get all of the powdered sugar to mix in. So I added a little more water to it. And got everything mixed in. Now it is a little sticky not much just a little. What consistency should it be? Will it get less sticky as it cools? Should I add more powdered sugar now or wait until after it cools and I roll it?

I don't know if I am correct in this or not, but I wait until it cools and then see how it is. If necessary, then I add more powdered sugar.

Personally, I have also found that it works better when it is "sloppier" for lack of a better word.

Hope that helps but not sure it will.

many people here don't use but slightly more than half the powdered sugar in the process. It might need a bit more shortening(?) rubbed on the surfaces?

Just guessing. As mmf isn't something I've done a lot of.

hiya ayost43
BTW welcome to CC.
I usually add more water to mine when i melt the marshmallows anyway. I live in a very dry area of the states icon_sad.gif no snow for like all winter long sheesh. I would also let it rest and give the cornstarch in the powdered sugar time to absorb the water. Then you can be more able to tell if you need to knead in more powdered sugar.
