Good morning everyone,
I just purchased lots of americolor and want to use them BUT I am afraid to use the red because usually red has a taste. Usually I use no taste red from wilton cause my instructor said that normal red has a bitter taste. Now my question is do any of the americolors especially red have any taste. I want to make a heart shape cake with red roses and color the inside of the cake red for my daughters school but I don't want the kids to say "Ewwwww it tastes bad".

Vie--
Go ahead and use the americolors. No bitter taste and you don't have to use as much to get a good red color.
