Hi, all ~

I'm doing a 12" heart cake this weekend. I am having a hard time coming up with decorating ideas. It will be covered in fondant. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Julie

Try doing a search in the galleries on "heart." There are 4 pages of great ideas...and some that look like actual human hearts, lol. icon_eek.gif

Well, you may want to take a look at a Valentine's day cake I did. Check out "MY Photos".

The Valentine cake was covered in fondant and airbrushed a deep red. The "gold" ribbon is fondant which was painted in edible gold petal dust (as was the border). Instead of rosebuds, you could make gumpaste full=blown roses or orchids. Instead of the matte finish you might want to sprinkle edible glitter or make gold swirls or hearts on the heart cake itself--to make it look like wrapping paper.

LOL! Please share YOUR photos!

I love the candy box cake. Click on my photos. I made the truffles with various decorations. They are the oreo cream cheese balls.
