I just wanted to share my smokin' deal for today. I have been wanting a nice cake plateau but was unwilling to pay the price for one until today. I found a beautiful silver, 12" round plateau at Big Lots for only $12.99!!! I was about jumping out of my skin right in the store. To me, it looks just like the expensive ones and it even has a mirror on the top. I think it's really pretty so I wanted to share in case any of you might need one too. They also had a pretty silver, 3 level cake stand with clear jewels hanging off each level. It was hinged so each level could swing open if that makes sense.It is only for 8" rounds on all 3 tiers. Maybe this will help some of you looking for pretty stands.
