I hate my camera so much that I could just scream!! My pictures never look like my cakes. My latest picture, which is the Chocolate Anniversary Cake, is sooooo way to dark. Now granted the chocolate is dark but you can't see the detail very well. I have little chocolate leaves on top of the cake and chocolate rossettes as the border and you can barely see them. I was so proud of this cake and wanted to show it to y'all but it just looks horrible because of my stupid camera! Plus, I don't know anything about cameras or how to adjust them. Maybe that is my problem... No! It's the camera!

I just looked at your picture and it didn't come out very dark here. I can see the leaves. It looks great!! I can also see the rosettes.

I wish I had an answer for why it's dark on your end but on my computer I can see everything.

i dont think its a problem with your camera or then how you take the pictures. it probably could be your screen. I just moved my screen (which was facing the window) and could see the rossettes and leaves very clearly.... your cake looks beautiful and sounds delicious... Lovely
