Because I have 5 cakes going out on one weekend...I wanted to cover the doll cake in MMF a few days ahead to get all the rest done. Will it be okay in a cold garage for the most of 2 days??Will the BC underneath cause the fondant to get grease spots?

Thanks!! thumbs_up.gif

Hi Kiddiekakes,

My Pink Barbie cake was covered two days ahead, I didn't see any difference.

I always cover my dolls a couple of days ahead..I have just done one now for saturday......

I find it gives the cake the chance to rest and the buttercream to settle and start to soak into the cake abit..I dont put them in a cold room just in a normal cake box in a wam room..

But dont forget I am in the UK icon_biggrin.gif
