I really like your website. I especially like the colors you used.

I would like to recommend that you maybe break down your cake pictures by category if possible. This will make it easier for the person that is looking for that special cake.

Chocolate Cherry - Not centered under The Cake category

Under Wedding Cake you have: If you are planning to have fresh flowers on your cake, it is up to you and your florist to ensure the chosen flowers can be placed on an edible cake. It is important to note that not all flowers are safe to do so.

Recommend: If you are planning to have fresh flowers on your cake, it is up to you and your florist to ensure the chosen flowers can be placed on an edible cake as not all flowers are safe.

Is this your business and you have others working for you? Just curious because you us "we" a lot. Just wondering.

Overall your website is wonderful. I do not know much about making my own, so I give you HUGE thumbs_up.gif ! icon_smile.gif

GREAT JOB!!!!!

I am only one person and I use "we" b/c it makes it sound like I'm established and I have a crew of employees...hahaha...I just like the way it sounds better

it also makes it sound like "we" as a company

Nice job! the only thing I would add is (on your contact page) is something like "serving Barrie and surrounding area" ... I know when i'm looking for a service on-line, if I don't see where they are, I assume it's not near me and move on!

I like your website a lot. You did a really good job with it, and your cakes are beautiful. I do agree that you should split up your cakes into different categories especially if you plan on adding more. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

I love your logo!! The only critical comment I have is about the font you use for your text -- it just seems a lttle hard to me. I think it would be better to tie in your logo theme with a softer font that may be a little easier to read.

Other than that, your site looks great!! And your cakes are lovely!!!!!

Best of luck to you!

Thanks everyone for your comments...I also use "we" so I sound more established! haha I was thinking about seperating the cake pictures, but I think I will wait until I have more to post. Otherwise, I'd only have 1 wedding cake!!
Thanks again!

"We" is very good. I love you logo too! I would definately seperate the cakes once you have some more wedding cakes done. I'd buy a dummy cake and then make one wedding cake a week using it, only thing your out then is frosting but it's s cheap way to build up your portfolio (this is what I've been doing icon_biggrin.gif )

Site looks good!

I love your web site as well, but I hope you don't mind my saying so, you might want do to away with the wording "Do our best" for creating cakes and also for contacting back. It kind of sounds like you aren't sure of yourself. I would just skip that whole line about contacting them back. (timeline that is). Just have your number and email and such.

and "If you find a "must have design" in a magazine, please feel free to show us, and we will do our best to create the masterpiece of your choice!"

I would say something like and "we can work with you to create the masterpiece of your choice..."

Also, I didn't see any kind of pricing or what your prices may include. Do all your cakes include the flowers and fondant? I highly suggest you put a pricing guide on your web site. There are SO many web sites for people to choose, they want to get as much information out of the site before they start contacting people..

Your cakes are beautiful! Good luck!!

Great job on your site! I also use freewebs.com. The only suggestion I might make is to have a form on the contact us page where a customer can fill in and submit right there. Like this:

http://www.freewebs.com/euphoriabakery/contactus.htm

Some people would be more likely to fill a form out in front of them than email without any guidlines of what to write. And you will get some info on them and what they want so you can be ready with ideas when you contact them.

Also- Your cakes are outstanding!

I like your website. It is especially easy to navigate, and the color choice gave me a "retro" feel which is trendy right now. You may want to consider trademarking the "love at first bite", and using the trademark symbol onyour website. It's a clever saying and some other cake designer might start using it.

great site...well organized and nice colors

galleries are nice. Possibly sort gallaeries so all wedding in one, all other types in the other and then add another for the cookies

as concerning "We"

(putting on English teacher hat) -- well aren't we so "Royal"!
your usage is called the "Royal we" after the way kings and queens have to talk when they as one person represent the whole country or in your case the whole company!. (most famous quote using it was by Queen Victoria upon inspecting the Tower of London. One whiff of the stangent water around it and she said "We are not amused!" In short order it was filled in and turned into a parade ground for the guards -- ah the trivia one learns! icon_rolleyes.gif )
