Green county Missouri that is.
They stink. Basically the county says you have to have a commercial kitchen, no exceptions. BUT, if you live inside the city limits of Springfield it gets worse. If things were changed and you could have an in-home decorating business you couldnt do it if you live inside the city.
The city has an ordinance that forbids health inspectors from entering your home and inspecting it. So even if they change the statue someday those of us who live in the city still cant benefit from it.
The inspector I spoke with said hed gotten a lot of calls about this and always recommends finding a kitchen I could rent out. My client base isnt substantial enough to make renting a kitchen a lucrative venture. I guess I'll have to continue to keep things on the down-low until I win the lottery and can afford to open my own bakery
