I am looking for ideas for a dentist cake. Has anyone done anything for a dentist? I don't want to do just a tooth. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
What about the dental insignia? I am terrified of the dentist-not the person-just the whole situation so I am not much help either!
That cookie bouquet is awesome!!! I wish I could do cookies but every time I try they look like cr--p! You did a great job!
LOL! Thanks. I do lots of cookies, and every time I volunteer to do them for my son's activities as fundraisers, I always kick myself. (Like now for Valentine's Day.) I seem to be missing the "NO" gene.

toomuchcake.... I got suckered into doing a cookie bake sale for v-day too.... if you find the NO antidote let me know ...lol
Okay, now, THAT's a cute cake! ge978, I love your avatar!
sofiasmami, I used to joke that I was going to have a t-shirt printed up that said "Sucker" on it. I guess I'm an incurable "yes-girl." But the fundraising committee sure does light up when they see me coming, so I guess I should be happy. {or so I say as I stay up late Feb. 13th packaging cookies..}

How about a tube of toothpaste cake, a toothbrush cake, a floss cake, a big grin cake with all the teeth shining. I don't know just a few ideas. Good luck with it.
I made a dentures type cake for a friend who went off to dental school. It's in my photos if you want to check it out. Good luck with your cake and please post a picture
I worked for a dentist when I first started doing cakes, and it stumped me too! For his 60th, I made a sheet cake that said "don't let 60 get you down in the mouth"- pretty boring I know... I love the smiling cake posted above - very creative! I will try something like that for his next big day...BTW great cookie bouquet!
It's funny you posted something about a dentist cake! I have a cake due on St. Patty's Day and they want a combo of a mouth with shamrocks combined. I was thinking of making a mouth and then it look like it's biting down on a shamrock. Make the shamrock out of fondant or something? Don't know if that sparks any ideas?? Good luck!

I love all the dentist words around the cake-great job! Did you make the sweet tooths? They are really cute!
I love, love your seashell wedding cake on your website-just beautiful!!!
Yes, I made the chocolates. they are a life of the party mold and can be purchased at candylandcrafts.com This wasnt what I had in mind but I just ran out of time.
what an awesome cake!! the other tiered one with the teeth on the side was great also!!
thank you! My sister in law just called and just about pulled all my teeth out. She said that cake is awful! I know the colors arent that great but is it really awful?
What???? Awful???? I see nothing about the cake that is AWFUL.
What exactly was she expecting? I think you did a Great Job.
She apparently had a picture of a different cake in her head or something, because I think it's an Awesome Cake!
Did your sister in law say what she didn't like about the cake? I don't see anything wrong with it. I think its really cute...I didn't know those were molds - I thought they were plastic figures. You made them look so real.
My sister in law said that cake is awful!
Scrolling down, I saw the pic and thought, "Wow! That's beautiful!" and then I read your post and said "Whaa...?!!!" Your SIL obviously can't appreciate good work. If it had been meant for her, take it back and keep the cake for yourself!
It looks great! She should have given you more direction if she wanted something different.
