Just wondering what tip you generally use for writing on a cake. I tried #3 and it seemed huge. Didn't know if most people use a #1 or #2.

I normally use 3, sometimes 4 depending on what I am doing and how big the cake is.

If you want something smaller you can always use 1 or 2, though I'd probably only use 2. One isn't my favorite tip. icon_smile.gif

I also use the 3 or sometimes a 4. I tried a 1 and didn't like the results - I also found it hard to make a straight line with.

I usually use a 3. I tried 1 & 2 but I find I have to squeeze too hard and my lines are usually shaky.

Usually a 3. Sometimes a 2 if I don't have much room to write.

I always use 4. Sometimes even 5 if I have a big area to fill in with writing.

I will very occasionally use #3 if I am pressed for space but I find that 3 or smaller just don't work well with me.

Apparently I'm so used to the pressure required for #4, I squeeze too hard with smaller and mess it up.

I rarely use a 1. To hard to squeeze the frosting through. I'd have to say 2 or 3 is the most common tip for writing (but I try not to have to do much since my writing stinks-gotta love stencils).

I almost always use a #2, I agree with the others, #1 is too difficult to work with.

3 for me in most cases.
