my first orders are coming in!!!!!!!!

Three weeks ago I done two character cakes for my son and niece's b-day. I done scooby, spiderman and mini scoobys. well, this weekend I done a huge cake for my other niece's b-day. It was a cinderella doll cake, 10" and 12" square all stacked. I made fondant mice and pumpkins to put around the cake and made silver and blue edible pearls to use as a border and to decorate the sides of the cakes.

Getting to the point... there were a lot of people at the party and everyone was talking about how good the cake looked and tasted. and said that they would start getting me to do their cakes.

Well, today I got my first two orders!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will upload some pics as soon as possible. My digital camera died so I had to go old fashioned with film. I will have to get them developed and scan them in. I hope to get it done in the next few days. I am going to try to get some digital pics that other people took at the parties e-mailed to me.

whoooohooooo!! way to go!!! how exciting!!!!!!
i cant wait to see your pictures!!!

make sure you charge a fair price! starting out, i was timid and charged hardly nothing...then had to slowly increase my prices...charge what you are worth.
