Hi All!

I am doing some Barbie cakes, mini versions, for some of the little girls that are in my DD's ballet class and one of them also has a brother and I would like to make something for him too. Any ideas on how I can use this mold or another small pan to make something for a boy?

How about a volcano? Or lay them on the side and make strawberries.
I think I like the volcano idea betterfor boys.

Why not make it look like a small roller coaster just make the tracks and put a little coaster car on it.

You could make it look like a dirt hill or mountain and put monster truck going up the side.

If he's not too old, a clown pick for the head and the cake as body, or in back of Wilton year book, it shows whole cake piece used as clown head. If he's older, you could make a shark head, by cutting a small hunk out to make opening for shark mouth, hard to explain and I don't have picture. HTH

A volcano was the first thing that came to mind. The only other idea I can think of is to make it look like a mound of dirt with some gummy worms in it. I guess it depends on how old the boy is.

There are some cute ones here

Go to Photo Gallery, then cupcakes, she also has mini cakes there.
Page 8 has a dragon
Page 13 has a dinosaur
Page 13 has a bag of Bertie Botts Beans, these are very popular right now with my nephew and his friends

Hope this helps
