What supplies are listed in the class book that are need in adition to the kit for Wilton I? I've tried to look online, but I can't find them. I even went to Michael's last night to look in a book there, but they didn't have the book. Just my luck... I would even like the list of supplies that aren't necessary, but are still nice to have. I believe that they're on the 2nd or 3rd page. Thanks so much!

For your first class all you need to bring is pen and paper. You don't need anything until your second class and your instructor will tell you. If you are taking at Michaels, they usually have a supply sheet. First class is simple. Then rest you'll have to bring icing and cakes. Good luck!

Yes, I'm very aware of that. I just need a list to give to someone. I just can't find my book.

Sorry, the day I don't bring my binder w/ class 1--at home. I belive it is a batch of class buttercream. So, Crisco, clear vanillia, clear butter and/or almond extract, merguine powder. Parchment paper, wax paper, small kitchen towel (says bath towel) tooth picks, piping gel...this is all off of memory. Hopefully someone else will jump in. LOL.

Supplies needed for Course 1:

Course 1 Kit (or 50 or 101 piece tool caddy)
Meringue Powder
Decorating bags
Additional tips - 3, 12, 16, 104 will come in handy
Tip 1
Piping Gel (if you do rainbow cake in Lesson 2)
Clown Heads - Lesson 3
Flower lifters - Lesson 4
Icing colors

Other additional items which you will probably see during Lesson One. You can do class with out these, though they do help.
Turn table
Bake even strips
cake boards
cake icer tip
cake leveler

I'm sure there are more but that is all I can think of off the top of my head. You will need a cake and icing for every lesson after 1. So you will use those supplies as well. Some cheap plastic containers would be helpful with your icing. Additional spatulas or spoons come in handy. Scissors are a must to me. icon_smile.gif
