It went really well; I didn't realize how fat I'd gotten from all the cakes, so now I have to start being more careful. Aside from my horror on that issue, it was a really good interview. I brought the Tiffany cake, the tree stump, and the seashell wedding cake. I also brought samples of the tiramisu cake for the staff, and people really seemed to enjoy it. They even let me make a shout-out to my students! I've had only 2 calls so far, but the news station messed up and did not put my website. They flashed my phone number briefly, so hopefully people will call. At least they've seen our work and know what we do.
THe only thing I feel bad about is that my mom forgot to watch. She said I forgot to remind her.....oh well!! At least it's taped! I think we'll start getting some business after this weekend.

just remember the truism of television:

being in front of a camera automatically adds 10 lbs.!
(and yes, that is true, it's a function the technology)

so, it may not be all the cakes.

thanks Doug, for the vote of confidence, but I assure you, the camera doesn't add a double chin!! LOL THe icing is the true culprit (or my inability to stop myself!)
