I made a fondant figure for the first time. I am wondering if anyone would be so gracious as to give me their honest opinions and suggestions? I have tried to attach a pic to my post, but I am having trouble doing so. I don't know if it is me or my computer with the problem (more than likely it is me, it took me forever to figure out how to even upload pics to my photo album!! LOL) Anyway, if anyone would be so gracious as to look in my photos, their is a picture of it there. And remember, I am seriously wanting honesty! Thanks!!

It took me a second to figure out that was a bow in her hair (although I don't think others will have that problem, it's probably just me!).....I think you did a fantastic job on her! thumbs_up.gif

Thank you! Now that I look at the picture, it is hard to tell it is a bow, but in person, it isn't as hard to see. I still think that I need to make the bow stand up a little more. Thank you for your time!

Love your little baby...

The bow could be made to stand up a little..but the babies face and wrap are excellent thats the hardest thing to do is the face and expression...Love it icon_biggrin.gif

The babies face is adorable. My advice is try to make the blanket thinner and add some texture to the blanket like stitchwork. I made a baby under a blanket on one of my cakes that I textured if you want to look. For the bow, making it thinner and moving it forward would help. I don't know how you made your bow, but to make it small and thin I just roll fondant into a thin snake and bend it into a bow.

Have fun.
