I have a bride that wants the cake that I have posted below for her Americana Wedding. She wants the first tier to have a red ribbon of fondant on it only the 2nd tier to have the quilt design and then the 3rd tier to have the red fondant ribbon. My question is how do I make the quilt design I have been looking for cutters for the shapes but I can't find them. Does anyone no where I could get cutters for this. I guess I could make patterns from paper but I think that the cutters would be easier. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

looks like the triangles could be a diamond pattern cut in half. could be done w/a square pattern as well. wilton has cutters for hearts and squares and stars that could be used. hope this helps some.

Ditto what Pinkbunny said...lol. That's exactly what I thought when I looked at the cake. icon_smile.gif
