Just got an order from a lady here that will be going to Chicago sometime next week for a Lawyer's convention. She is taking MY cookies to promote Texas. I will be making Cowboy Hats and Cowboy Boots. I may throw in a few Texas shape. WoHoo!!! After Christmas and 49 dozen cookies, I didn't want to see another order, but I have recovered.
Better go start on my design!

That is awesome! It is so exciting when big things like that come along. Congratulations!

I felt the same way after Cristmas...I was ready to never see another cookie again. Then after new year's I was like "ok, let do it again"!

Have fun and I hope you get lots of calls!

It's always nice to know your treats are going someplace other than across town.

I bake for a local organization that sends packages out to the troops in Honduras, Afghanistan, Iran & Iraq as well as a few other places. When I was asked to make @ 40-50 dozen cookies of several varieties, I was asking myself do I want the hassle? Then I thought... "Heck, if my cookies can go worldwide, why not?" I know they're making someones day or night a little sweeter.

I've got another set being delivered to the organization tomorrow morning, and each time I try to make at least one type of cookie I never made before, so it helps keep me on my toes.

Kudos to you on this worthwhile cause too kiddo! Good way to try out a new recipe too!
So would it be safe to say that your cookies get around more than you do? I meant travelling of course, haha! icon_wink.gif
