I have the double oven Maytag stove. If your not familar with it, it has a small oven on top(the size of the drawer that is usually at the bottom) and a regular size oven at the bottom. I love it. It is especially great if you only have like two cakes to make, I can just use the smaller oven on top and it preheats in a breeze since it is smaller. Of course it is great to if you jave a lot of cake orders, you can just use both. I don't know what I ever did without it. I hope this helps!!! icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

Oh yeah! It ranks right up there with my KA Mixer!! I don't know what size they are but it's the GE Profile Performance Model...and I just love that thing!! I double-batch everything that I bake..it's a real time saver for me!

I have a Kitchen Aid Selectra 27.

I love it! Its doesn't fit a 18"(one side of the pan slightly touches the wall) but it fits anything below a 18" inch perfectly. Saves alot of time because i can bake 2 small-medium cakes on top and one big one on the bottom. Definately a time saver. icon_biggrin.gif

ngarza07 -- You posted this right out of my head. DH and I looking at buying a new house that has a very old wall oven. I told DH immediately upon settling a new stovetop and oven were in order and I wanted to get a double wall oven!! I think I'm going to stick to a 30" model as I have some large cookie sheets.

I'm so jealous! It's on my "wishful thinking" list.

I've been eyeballing double ovens for the last year and a half. My sis has them and when my oven went on the blink last year I baked in her kitchen. She has less counter space, but wow I loved the double ovens. My oven has died again - time for a new one - but mine is only 5 years old. I think I overuse it. It's a KitchenAid - not sure how well they are rated. I'm considering going to a cooktop, leaving me much wanted space underneath for my ever growing cookie cutter collection. As for double ovens, I just wanted to see what ever other dedicated bakers had and thought of them. I think I'm going with 30 inch just to be safe. I have the room so why not. I was looking at a GE Profile as they were just rated super high via Consumer Reports.

Thanks for all the feedback!
