the tool I've seen on Jacques Torres' show that is similiar to 4 pizza cutters connected with pieces that expand and contract so you can cut strips of whatever in varying widths?

I can't explain it better than that.. It really looks like 4-5 pizza cutters connected together. I was thinkng last night as i was making strips for a fondant bow that it would be great to use to get nice even strips and more than 1 at a time!

Depending on how many wheels it has it could be a 4-wheel pastry cutter, a 5-wheel, etc.
