Yes I have two letter press sets... one which has the common words made up and the other is one of letters for you to make up the words yourself... would this not be ok... or do you need special character letters??

CC has both the block & italic "make any message" press letter sets for about $7.99. Don't know if they have any in stock though, they didn't have any a couple of weeks ago when I placed my order. Good luck with your search....................... icon_smile.gif Bunny

Another thing you can do is to make your own letter press so you can make ones for the most common messages you put on cakes. I used the computer to print out the messages (print them out backwards) then you glue the paper to a piece of cardboard cut down to the size of the message. Outline it in royal icing, let it dry and you have your own reusable imprints.

That's a neat idea, Kellie1583! I'm going to have to try that one out!

The royal icing press also works great for pictures, etc. If you look in my photo album there is a cake that has a cell phone on it. That's how I got that picture onto the cake. Just imprinted it and filled it in. Works great!

I do the same thing, except I just print out the words, tape a piece of wax paper over it and write out the letters. i also do this with melted chocolate!
You just have to be very careful when peeling off the words...royal icing cracks easily!

That's why it is very important to use the cardboard. If the paper isn't glued to a cardboard backing it will crack right off the paper. Make sure you use cardboard and then what you have is a reusable stamp.
