Wedding Shower Cake - They Loved It!

I've posted a picture of the shower cake I did for my SIL's wedding shower on Saturday.
Everybody loved it, and it seems as though I may be in business doing cakes now, LOL. Several people asked me if I'd do cakes for occasions they have coming up, including a Grandma's 70th birthday party where they want the exact same cake I did for the shower!
Thanks to everybody for the comments earlier, it was great to have feedback before I did the "real" cake!

Very pretty. I can see why they wanted the same cake for the birthday party. Congratulations! It looks to be the beginning of many orders.
Very Pretty cake! I'm so glad for you. Soon you'll be wondering where you will find time to do other things, you'll be to busy filling cake orders!
It turned out just perfect! You can absolutely see all the time an energy you put into it.
Very pretty! You did a great job--the icing is soooooo smooth!

I agree! How did you get your edges so crisp! it is a beautiful cake!
Thanks!
I used a tip # 2 for the cornelli lace. It was a bit thicker than I had wanted, but by the time I did the entire cake, I was glad it wasn't as thin as I thought it should be, LOL!
To get the edges that crisp, I used a spackling knife (metal one) to do the smoothing. I'm more comfortable working with that than the long spatula, and I find it's easier to control. I did use the viva paper towel to smooth it a bit more after it crusted also.
