I have had Wilton gel colors for a few years. They are really drying out. I thought I would have to buy new jars, but just started the level 1 class and was told to add glycerine. The thing is, I find I am having to add a LOT of glycerine to get it back to anywhere near the correct consistency.

Should I just buy new jars, or how much do I have to add?

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

KrisD13, I am not sure how much you need to add, my teacher told me the same thing. I am gonna bump you and hopefully someone else can answer.

By the way welcome to Cake Central!

I've had to add glycerine to a few jars as well. It does take a lot. Fortunately, they were the small jars and they weren't full. I hate to waste them if I don't have to. But, I did just buy a whole bunch of Americolor to try. The bottles look like they will be much easier to work with and the colors have received such great reviews here on CC!
