How about a bunch of kids under a blanket or in sleeping bags?

The first thing that comes to mind with a boys sleepover is boys under a tent!! Out in the grass, bugs and stuff. Just an idea!

If all else fails, Do the Clowns! Kids love clowns, and the extra icing. You can use almost ANY color scheme, it's easy, and they are always a big hit!

My eight year old son is having a sleepover in a couple of weeks and I am going to make him a Yu Gi Oh cake. It is really big with the kids now! Last year, I did a Star Wars cake.

Good luck! (Boy sleepovers are I think harder then girl sleepovers! Girls just want to eat and gossip and boys want to run all over the house!) So my problem is trying to come up with something to entertain them with!

I like the tent idea. With bugs, and snakes, and creepy crawlers.

For some reason I think a bunk bed would be neat! My son is still little so we have not gotton to the sleep over stage. However...sleeping bags make me think of my daughter's girly sleepovers. princess.gif

I really like the ideas of working a tent in with the sleeping bags...that seems more boyish! Good luck and I hope you will post pics of the finished cake. icon_smile.gif

I did a sleepover cake for my son's birthday last year (in my photos). I decided to just do the boys in sleeping bags on the floor and not try to figure out a bed, LOL.

Thanks! It was really easy - and a bunch of 8 yr old boys don't care how perfect a cake is - LOL. Made the faces/arms out of royal and the sleeping bags from fondant.

I did a camp-out cake also but if you are looking for a bed and headboard, when I did a search in the gallery for "bed" it came up with some great ideas. Good luck! thumbs_up.gif
