I just found out that my daughter's boyfriend is gonna pop the question (sshhh, she doesn't know). And was wondering about ideas for a cake for her. Anything is good as long as it is purple. or has tweety on it. lol.

What a great idea...maybe Tweety could be holding the engagement ring and sitting in purple shaded flowers? Good Luck and congrats on getting a new son in law!

Or a take on Adven68's Jack in the Box, but Tweety instead in a ring box with the ring, "Popping the question".
You must be so excited, congratulations!

kinda sounds like my engagement to my hubby now
everyone knew including my then bosses and kids. Hubby's co took us to mexico for their semi annual vacation and my tb (teedybear) got down on one knee on the beach in the moonlight and proposed. How romantic eh? (not what you expect from some guy who looks like a bouncer at a biker bar). So I am sooo happy for her and heck no i ain't spillen da beans. LOL!!!

Well guys,
Made the cake and the boyfriend loved it. I got a little crystal heart candy dish to act as the "cake stand". Our idea is to place "the" ring in the little cake dish so it would be a total surprise for my dd.
i am still waiting to see if she said "yes". Can't wait, crossing fingers and toes and whatever else I can cross. And yes, ladies and gents, thank you o sooo much for your input and wonderful ideas.

Ooh, how adorable is that, you did a perfect job, it is so cute and so well done!
Just wanted to say, you will have to ask Jackie or Heath to remove the picture from your gallery. If you enter a cake in a contest, it can't appear in the gallery according to the rules. I think a lot of people aren't aware of that.

k I was wondering about that. I was hoping that there would be some way that it would ONLY post in the one gallery without posting in your own. Maybe they can play with that and fix it so it won't post in your own.
BTW how do I go about asking them to take it off the one and leavi it in the other?
Do I pm them or email them?
BTW ty squirrelly, coming from you I take that as a great compliment!

Hi kiddo,
I think that one of the moderators may be able to do this, but I am not sure. Also, maybe put it under Technical Support to make sure either Jackie or Heath see it. Sometimes I don't think they see all of the Pm's, likely because they get bombarded, haha.
Gosh that cake is just terrific, can't wait to hear her reaction, too darn cute and what a great creative idea too!
