The strangest thing just happened to me. I was looking at cake pans on ebay and found a Christmas Cake pan for .01 plus shipping that no one had bid on yet and only had 16 hours left in the auction. So I figure I'll get a good deal and bid on the pan. I put in my bid and when I confirmed in I got the message that said I had been outbid icon_eek.gif !!!! LOL Someone else bid on it at the EXACT same time that I bid on it!!! It had been on Ebay all this time with no bids and all of a sudden we both bid only seconds apart! I just thought it was funny icon_biggrin.gif

It actually depends on whether the other person put in a max bid which they obviously did.The .01 cent auction price will stay the same until someone else comes along and bids. When you came along and bid (Whatever the number) ebay will automatically send you an outbid notice if you did not bid above the first bidders maximum bid...does that make sense?? Chances that you bid right at the same time are probably coincidental...it likely has been sitting there for a few days untouched until you came along!!

That ebay drives me nuts with the entire bidding process. I don't have the stamina for it. My best friend, however, is addicted!

I've had my Ebay account since 1997 and I understand what you are saying. However, what I was saying is that there we NO bids on it yet at all. They bid at 18:23:33 and I bid at 18:23:59 LOL It was only 26 seconds apart that the item went from no bids to 2 bids icon_smile.gif Crazy huh? What are the odds that we both bid at almost the exact same second!!

Yeah me too but I would actually have to play the lottery first!! LOL The worst thing about the Ebay auction is that I'm not winning!!! Now I will have to wait to try to grab it at the last second. Hmmmm hope the other bidder is not on this site reading my intentions! LOL
The nest thing I want to find a good deal on is the 3-D Egg Pan. I want to make some of those Faberge Eggs icon_biggrin.gif

I'm not quite sure. I've never seen it called that. I've seen it called the 3-D Easter egg cake pan I think

Cause the Easter egg pan is the size of large football. The panoramic egg kits are the easter eggs made from wet sugar and scooped out and then you decorate the eggs all up once it has dried.
