Hey everyone, I need help putting together some idea's for a Disney theme bridal shower cake..I'm supposed to be getting an idea of who the bride's fav characters are but right now I can't think beyond a castle cake with Disney princesses.

Anyone have any other ideas?? i really would appreciate all of your input!

Have you ever heard of Disney's The Kiss? Well it's a collage of a bunch of different Disney characters kissing... you could do something to that affect. I can try to locate a pic of it, all I have is my huge poster of it.

if you do a search on Google Image with "disney the kiss" for key words there were quite a few pictures that came up. One looked like a poster with all the different couples on it.

I would suggest the search, then you can pick a good quality picture or size that you are looking for.

What about Cinderella's glass slipper? Sorry that's all I can think of at the moment.

why not make a plain white round fondant cake with either; ribbon and roses around the bottom border of the cake or a string of feathers or maribu feathers around the bottom with a cake topper like the one below. It will be a simple, elegant and classy cake.

Oooohh, chefdot & MommyEdzards, great suggestion with the Kiss Poster! I can see a round or oval cake with different 'scenes' of the kisses from the poster all around it, in their own individual icing frames...then a figurine of her favorite Disney character on top, or one of the Prince & Cinderella, that mamasota posted. Really pretty! icon_smile.gif

I don't even know if this is feasable, but thought I would throw this out there. What about a cinderella carriage cake? You could use the Wilton sports ball pan for the rounded main part, and then either make the wheel details from royal icing or fondant.

Or you could do a mmf slipper on a royal type pillow. Or a cinderella cake, using the wonder mould pan, dressed in a wedding dress, on a larger sheet cake (depending on how many people the cake has to serve).

HTH a little!

I love the kiss idea and the slipper .... the mikey and minnie wedding topper is great but I think it's more of a wedding thing ...

Here is one from the Riviera Bakehouse (AKA Whimsical Bakehouse) that I think is so cute.

Also, I have this one saved in my photos.

Hey - I live near orlando and my hubby works at disney so I'm there fairly often. My first thought was how about the mickey ear hats that brides and grooms can get at the parks? The guy's looks like a top hat with mickey ears and the girls is white with ears an a veil.
