I am doing a very simple 3 tier square wedding cake. Convered in mmf with only a 1 1/2 inch fondant ribbon around the bottoms of each tier and edible pearls on the tiers.

The brides mother is furnishing all the fresh flowers which will go on the top and is also renting the base for the cake.

So, I have a very simple cake 16, 12, 8 inch square two layer tiers covered in mmf with a fondant accent ribbon, all dusted with pear luster dust. I am thinking $300.00......what do you guys think?

can you belive it, I called locally here to inquire what this cake would cost and their decorator has never worked with fondant so they couldn't quote a price of a fondant cake.

How can a professional cake decorator NOT work with fondant???? Well, it could just mean more business for you icon_smile.gif

I know, I couldn't belive it. I think $300 in this area is a pretty fair price considering it is a simple cake.
