I just made my first batch of MMF - it's cooling now. When I go to handle it - should I put shortening on my hands to keep it from sticking or cornstarch?

I like to use shortening, esp. if colored. When it is white corstarch or pwd. sugar.

Shortening is the best way. I used to use cornstarch, but it left my work looking chalky.
