Hubby and I were craving some delish Monkey Bread. I had this great idea that I would make little individual sized monkey breads with my mini bundt pan. However, when you make them smaller I think you are supposed to cook them for a shorter amount of time!!! LOL They look good but they are as hard as a ROCK! icon_eek.gif
The sugar/cinnamon mixture just basically carmalized (sp?) and turned into a hard candy. Almost like a burnt candy taste!!! I was going to take some to work for people to try but ummmmm I don't think I will be doing that! They might chip a tooth!! LOL That wouldn't be very good for me trying to start up a little business icon_razz.gif
Anyway, here is the pic. Like I said they look pretty good but you could really hurt someone if you threw it at them!!! LOL

Hah! That's too bad, because they look delicious!

I may as well tell you that when I read the topic of your post I read it as

"SNACKS--for hubby gone bad!"

thinking it was your HUSBAND who was bad, not the snacks!

Very nice thought--and now you know about shortening the cooking time!

Just yesterday, I thought about making them in the individual bundt pans.

Now, I'll know HOW to bake them!!

Thank you for sharing!

LotsofTots, that's hilarious! icon_lol.gif

Susan, how about if you turned the monkey breads upside down, hollowed out the middles, and used them as bowls for the ice cream? icon_rolleyes.gif
