I am planning on making ice cream cone cupcakes (the ones you bake in flat-bottomed ice cream cones) to take to an event on Tuesday. I was going to bake them on Monday, but as I think about it today, I'm not sure of the best way to transport them without having them fall over. I have to drive them about 45 minutes from here.

I saw an offer on the side of the Joy ice cream cone box that they have a nifty metal baking rack/caddy for this express purpose, and the gadget-lover in me immediately wanted it. Now I just have to keep myself distracted until I forget about it so I don't order myself one and have yet one more thing taking up space in my pantry.

So, anyway, I figured there would be somebody on here who's had to take ice cream cone cupcakes somewhere who would share with me how they did it without the cupcakes touching each other and messing up the frosting, and without falling over.

Thanks!
Deanna

Last time I made ice cream cone cupcakes, I took an old gift box (the kind you put shirts in from Penny's for Christmas) and cut holes in the top for the cones.

It worked pretty well.

That's a great idea. I have plenty of shirt boxes from Christmas, so I won't even have to go buy anything. Thanks!!

I used the cardboard container that water bottles come in from Walmart or Sams and put holes in them
