This thread is hilarious. I've just gotten into this, but you know it's bad when your dh is on the always on the lookout for any cake-related store so that he can distract you from seeing it.

(Although, I have to say, he's been very supportive)

You know your an addict when:
After suffering from a migrane all day and unable to sit infront of the computer when you finally feel better at about 11:00PM the first place you go isnt to bed but online to see what happened on CC then staying online most of the night.

When you tell your kids to get dressed (the 5, 3 & 2 year olds) because your going to the store and they say, "what store" and you say "the craft store". Than they go into a crying fit saying "NO more cake stuff, I don't want to go there again".

Hahahahahahahaha, I'm LOL at mom2sevens reply. You made my laugh for the day,

Every time you hear the "ding" from your computer for your incoming email you go running to the computer because you just know it's going to be from "[email protected]" and you'll have a new post to look at on CC.

You read all 17 pages and sit there saying "is that it? I need more, more I tell you!"

You know you're a cake addict when the only reason you take the kids into the toy section at the department stores is to check out the playdough sets to see if you can use any of them for cake decorating.

hnogden - this is me too!!!! Then when you finally go to bed you dream about recipes you want to make, cake designs, etc.

you know you're an addict and that you have infected the entire family when your 27 year old son brings home a girlfriend just because her favorite comfort food is cake batter. he told her "its always in mom's house".

You spend your "extra" money on an airbrush kit instead of those front porch rockers you've been wanting for 10 years. :-/

Ok true story:
You know your an addict when you hang out in the cake area of Hobby Lobby just so you can talk to other people there and you just "happen" to mention CakeCentral.com to see if they are someone you have chatted with online.
Just got back from there after having spent WAY too much money. Hope my DH doesnt check the bank account for a while.

What a great co-worker! (I must admit--I have "tag envy" too!)

Okay, okay I'm on page 12 and had to add one before I finished all 18. You know your an addict when you ask a coworker to copy her shirt on the color copier for you because it would make a great cake design.

(Seriously, I have done this three times - to three different people.)

You know you're a cake deco addict when you count your latest, greatest accomplishments in this order:

1: posted a recipe on Cake Central and people liked it.

2. started this thread on Cake Central and people liked it.

3. only ate cake three times today.
