I'm trying to make a lily (like a tiger lily) and am having a few problems. I did a search and only came up with directions to make a calla lily. Would anyone be able to give me a step by step as to how they go about making these? Or assembling them, I should say! Last night I made the petals and stamens and they looked awesome, but when I tried to put them together, it did not work. icon_confused.gif Thanks!

You attach your petals to a wire that has your stigma and stamens already attached.

You should have six petals. Attach the first three petals in a "triangle" shape. Those wires should have and angle of about 120 degrees. Then attach your outer petals in the outer spaces that fall between the inner three petals.

If you look in my photos, there is a basket of flowers cake. Bring that up and in the center of the flowers is an Alstromeria(Peruvian Lily)...look at the inner three petals..they are in the "triangle shape"...then see how the outer petals were attached in those spaces created by the inner petals. That is the shape you want for your Lily.

Hope this helps you.
