If I make a monogram out of royal icing or colorflow, can it be attached to fondant/mmf to give it extra support and so that it won't break into pieces or will the oil in the mmf break it down....am I making sense...

I've done it. As long as the fondant is well dry (I'd say 3-4 days at min.) before I write on it with royal, I've never had a problem
