Hi All,
When I first got the order I was in total shock. On the one hand I felt that this was just too huge and on the other hand how proffessional would it have been had I said I can't manage. So, who do I call....my DH. He's always been right next to me when I do anything (even if it's totally crazy). Well, he was just silent on the other end of the phone. Well, after a couple of minutes he called back and said not to worry we will be fine and he'll even ice the cookies if need be. Next I get onto the site for some help, insight and advice. After receiving all the encouragement that one could possilbly get, I was all ready to do this. 2 days later, DH finds out he is doing on a 5 week training course which would require him spending long nights reviewing etc....that sort of put a damper on things. He helped where he could and we finally finished.
The good news is....I heard some people in the building commenting about how nice this year valentines 'gifts' were. One lady even requested that he cookie be changed for another 'nicer' pattern... not sure if I should feel bad about that or not.
All in all it was a really good experince. Learnt alot especially with this being the first time for me doing cookies.
I don't have a digital camera, so I'll have to wait until I develop the pics to add to the thread.
