Myself and a few friends of mine are really starting to get serious about starting our own cakes decorating/ wedding planning business. there are 3 of us so far. 2 of us were working as cake decoraters @ the commisary on the base we live on but i just quit (for a better paying job, that i really need being a single mom) but i absolutly LOVE cake decorating and planning events. the only thing is I'm reading all over and i don't know where in the world to being. I've been assigned to finding out all of the business aspects of this and finding out about classes (to get more experience, and learn things we may not know) since I'm home days and work nights. I guess just any suggestions on what I should be looking for, where I should get started, is this a good site for me to be at for this... any feeback would be so unbelievably appreciated.

I would start at the Small Business Association in your area for business help. They are really a really great source for business planning and support. Then check out colleges, Tech schools, and craft stores for classes.
Good Luck
