A customer wants a cake for a Havana Nights/Cuban-themed party and my mind is blank! I only have ideas for Mexican, and that is totally different. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hey Liz....im in Miami....!

Havana nights...Makes me think of Casinos and Cabarets, im thinking cigars, dominoes, palm trees, mojito drinks...? Did she tell you anything else besides Havana nights? If its for a male you can do the dominoes and cigars theme, is its for a lady you can do it more tropical flowers theme.

I would design the front of a small building with the following lettering on top "TROPICANA CABARET" along with some lights and maybe bricks small street and why not... a couple of palm trees. Also I would make a dark gray sky with a full moon and a couple of dots (stars) to complete a tropical night. (I'm half cuban, half puertorrican) and that's the way I vision it. HTH icon_smile.gif

(By the way I do not know about a Copacabana night club in Cuba, I do know about the Tropicana in which Celia Cruz used to dance with Las Mulatas de Fuego and La Sonora Matancera.....MANY, MANY YEARS AGO!!!! I am not spring chicken, you know.....LOL

Let us see your cake, I am sure you will make a beautiful one.
