Local store has the Betty Crocker Bake 'n Fill on sale for $19.95 and they a 20% off coupon that would be applied.

so, is it worth buying? would it really add anything in terms of cakes that could be made etc? of is it just a cute gimmick?

We have a Betty Crocker Bake 'n fill and we really like it. It is easy to make ice cream cakes and other things. I would buy it.

I have the original Bake n Fill set from QVC that I brought about 3 years ago and only used it once...wasn't impressed with it.

In my opinion...you aren't missing anything great.

Just another cute gadget thumbs_up.gif

I have one. I like it.Lots of neat stuff you can do with it. Thats what I paid for mine. I would say well worth the price.

I received one as a Christmas gift and am returning it. I just don't see using it enough to clutter up my kitchen.

I have the pan as well. I have only used it a few times but I absolutely love. (My DH and kids like ice cream cakes.) I think it would be worth the price.

On another note: I just ordered the mini bake n'fill set-4 pan set with fluted, round and shortcake molds!

You can fill the cavity with all kinds of things...a second cake flavor, mousse, fresh fruit n' whipped cream, even jello. You are only limited by your imagination!

Sorry, forgot! You can also use the round mold of the pan without the insert to make a ball or half-ball cake!
