I thought maybe I had over filled pan. I didn't measure thumbsdown.gif The top looks like it has a nice crust, but the mix is running out the front like it's pouring from a funnal. Should I go ahead and start mixing up another? It make take a while to get all the crap from the bottom of my oven, it even leaked into the pull out drawer under thumbsdown.gif Crap! One day I will follow inst.
But for now, do you think it will be okay? I have a heat core in the miiddle, so I how it will help. TIA

It's a 14 round, I used two box mixes. I SURE it's too much. But with it pouring out runny liq while the top has nice crust, will it taste okay, or get done properly?

You should have used a heating core. What size pan on the sides? I use a 3 inch and use 3 mixes. what temp are you using?

oh probly too much batter 14 inch by 2" takes 10 cups of batter. if you used 2 mixes thats a little too much. I have had that happen and still used the cake.

THANK YOU psurrette!! For your quick and helpful tips. I did use the cake, it was a bite dry, but not bad. I thought you might enjoy my before and after photos.
Thanks again!
