I made the recipe for Almond Custard Filling found here on CC. Does it have to be refrigerated even after it is put on the cake? I'm making a cake that can't possibly fit in the refrigerator......2 12x18 sheet cakes side by side. Chocolate torted with the custard filling. I'd like to know before I fill my cakes tonight!!!!!!!

Thank you!

If it contains cream or anything dairy, it should be refrigerated. It might be ok if you keep it very cool and they will eat it early the next day??
