I am not as thrilled with this one! This cake was for the day after the motocross cake. It was for my friend's little girl. My friend however did not decide on when she was going to have the birthday party because her daughter had been sick with the flu. She told me on Friday that the party would be on Sunday...and I don't know how to say no, even though I was super busy preparing for the motocross cake. So I guess I rushed through the BCT and therefore I get what I deserve....a cake I didn't like. My friend liked it. I believe I made it too thick and it seems to be
3-D. The heart left much to be desired also. Anyway here is the pictures but please give me suggestions on how to get better at this.

i really like the way it came out. next time, i would make the piglet and the balloon separately or make the whole top of the cake a BCT..take a look at my pics for an example (dora cakes)

also...when u flip the transfer...u see the part of the balloon where u can see how u piped it, I take my small spatula and dip it in HOT water and smoothe it over the area and then you won't see those lines from the piping...

and when u make the whole cake one big transfer you can use the hot water and smoothe the whole background...works nicely b/c the icing is frozen and the spatula is hot...

hope that helps..and I really do like the way it came out!! very cute!
