I'm making a sheet cake for a rehearsal party. They want the "Now I Have You" figurine on top with some kind of humorous saying. It's a shotgun wedding, but they don't want it refered to it that way on the cake. I have searched for some kind of humorous saying, but have had no luck. Anyone have any ideas???????

Well, that's what I suggested, but she doesn't want to imply that the only reason she has him is because she's pregneant.

A few more suggestions ...

Adam and Eve had an ideal marriage. He didn't have to hear about all the men she could have married... and she didn't have to hear about how well his Mother cooked.

Wow, that's is sort of hard to think of something funny, but not demeaning in her conditon.

Maybe you can talk them out of saying something funny. I think the centerpiece is enough. Look at this weeding cake with this topper.http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo-183303.html

Thanks for the help everybody!! I've been racking my brain on this for the last few days.

That's a pretty cake. Unfortunately, this is a sheet cake, so there's a bit more open space. And I was trying to avoid too much "fluff" all over the top of the cake.

I think this is what I am going to do, what do y'all think?

I think they picked out the wrong figurine considering the circumstances!! :O)--

When I see that picture, I think "Hurry! I need a fried peanut butter and pickle sandwich!" -- But, I'm sure that wouldn't go over!! :O)

LOL, my son and daughter law had the same thing put on their wedding cake last May. We would make jokes to my son like:

1. Get Use To It.

2. The Way It Was, The Way It Is and The Way It Always Will Be.

3. You Can Do This The Easy Way Or My Way.

4. Heres Your Sign.

5. Here Comes Bridezilla

Hope these help you out......Wow, we really gave my son a hard time about the cake topper when we found out what they had pick out, but in a fun and laughing way. Thank goodness they both could laugh about it.

How about "To honor and to obey" and leave it at that? The cake topper will say it all.

I liked these two bcbaker They are SO true!!

I guess "And the two shall become three" would be out of the question. Do they have any pet names for each other? If they do, maybe you could use them: Pookie and Sugar Bear, Together forever. Try to mess with and we'll break your arm. Wow this is hard!!!!
