I just got home from a bridal fair I went to with a friend of mine that is getting married. I was of course instantly drawn to the cake exhibits. There was an idea there I thought was neat and wanted to share.

The cake was a tall 4 tier wedding cake with the theme of the honeymoon location. the theme was New York. The cakes were round and covered in fondant there were also building cutouts of fondant adhered to the sides of each tiered cake. The building were airbrushed in red, blue yellow, and orange. With windows pipped onto the buildings. A large quarter moon rested on top of the cake. The cake was priced at 900.00 dollars.

I was wondering if anyone else has done or seen a wedding cake with the honeymoon destination as the theme?

I believe there is a New York- themed cake in the WBH. Have not made it yet, but it looks cool! icon_smile.gif
