I have enjoyed all our little stories on this thread and wanted to share mine...
my dear friend who also does cakes had baked a half sheet for a bday cake and her 2 yo son was settled in watching tv so she took a quick potty break. When she came out of the bathroom, she noticed a big hole in the middle of her cake! Zach had gotten a big serving spoon from the crock on her counter and a big TW bowl from the cupboard--the only things he could reach/get into--and scooped a big spoonful of cake into his bowl and was enjoying a snack w/ his tv show! She said it was so funny, she couldn't help but laugh, and be thankful he used a spoon and bowl and actually didn't make a mess! Thankfully she had extra cake to patch it!
Now my DH, was fiance at the time (and I still married him!), knew I was having a heck of a time one weekend with too many cakes and too little time. I was doing my last cake, it was a half sheet for a 1st bday and I had a little 3" round for the smash cake. I went into the other room to get some supplies from my cupboard and when I came back I noticed my smash cake was gone...ugh! I said, what did you do with my cake, this is not funny, I have no extra cake, where'd you hide it...thinking he was just messing with me. Well, I couldn't understand his reply b/c his mouth was full of my smash cake! I could have killed him! I really had no extra cake from all I had done that weekend, not even anything in the freezer, so I made him mix up another cake and redo my smash cake and he made the rest into cupcakes for himself while I iced the big cake! I was so mad, because just the week before I had a 6" leftover and he said he would eat it, it sat there until it molded b/c he didn't eat it!

GRRRR!
