Connie,
I've been looking at your cakes. They are beautiful. I have a stupid question. What are icing images?

Connie,

Very gorgeous cakes! thumbs_up.gif The display wedding cake looks almost identical to one I am doing in April. The only real difference is that mine will have some chocolate layers.

As always...your cakes look stunning! icon_smile.gif

Wow Connie!!! thumbs_up.gif You do beautiful work. I am just starting to get into the decorating. Like I said in a previous post I always had someone whose specialty it was. Excellent stuff once again

..they are images that are edible! Images printed from a dedicated printer, using edible paper and edible inks and then applied to buttercream icing or fondant. If you do a search using the words "edible images" you will get a lot of information!

Connie,

Once again...WOW,your cakes continue to amaze me.

By the way, can you do a post on making bows like you did for images (Little Kittie) with easy instructions icon_lol.gif

TIA

I admire your work. I hope to someday be half as talented ( and patient ) as you. I've noticed in a lot of your pictures you have two tiered stacked cakes. What sizes do you use. There are several that look the same but with different decor (if I make myself clear?). It looks to me to be a 10" and a 6" but I've also learned from this site that you can never quite tell by pictures.

your cakes are FANTASTIC..... can I make one suggestion?... perhpas a drop sheet in black or cream for your cakes to be displayed and photographed on rather than what you currently take them on. I think it detracts from your SUPER work.... your cakes are an inspiration.
