Help! I have an order for a cake with raspberry filling, whitish cake. So, without thinking it through, I made a almond flavored white cake. Is this going to taste bad together???

TIA!

Oh gosh, not at all, this combination is very popular, almond with chocolate or raspberry is wonderful. This will be terrific and the flavours will compliment each other!

I personally don't think so, I think they would compliment each other....meaning sounds yummy to me.

The only caution would be if there were any nut allergies. I have a friend who can eat my cakes without problem however he must stay away from almonds, walnuts, etc., so any almond flavouring would be a huge no-no. Now, most people do advise you beforehand if there are any concerns however it's always a good to be on the safe side....plus some people hate the taste of almond, not matter what you put it with. Personally I love it but my Mom HATES it......
